The annual musical event of Banogue parish will open its doors on this Saturday the 12th of February. Over sixty participants are going through their musical lines and practising their musical instruments for to stage the musical ‘Chicago Jazz’ in the community centre, Banogue. Mike Larkin is the producer and all involved have been rehearsing over the past three months. Major preparations have been made for the designing and construction of backdrop scenes, special lighting has been put in place and the sound equipment has been tested. The entire musical cast will be raising the roof on this weekend of the 12th and the 13th of February. Doors open at 8pm. The musical will be retained on the following weekend the 18th 19th and 20th of February.
