President of Ireland Mary McAleese will officially open Tots to Teens / Banouge Community Creche Ltd on Tuesday 27th October 2009. The President will arrive at 2.30pm and will depart the facility at 3.15pm approx.
To facilitate this there will not be a normal creche service on this day. However we would ask that all children who normally attend on Tuesdays afternoons would come to Creche from 1.20-3.30pm to showcase the facility and how the service operates. To ensure the safety of the children it is unfortunate that any children who arrive after 2.00pm cannot be accepted as there will be guests around the area.
It would be greatly appreciated if parents could donate either refreshments or services on this day. Anyone wishing to contribute to this momentous occasion should inform the Crech Manager.
An invitation will follow for all the families availiong of the services of the Creche. Refreshments will be served in the hall from 1.30pm and again after the official opening. Banouge Community Creche wish to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but hope all families will appreciate that this is a unique event.
